How to play Blox Fruits
- Take every quest the Starter Island giver offers and kill its targets. Quest experience beats grinding loose enemies by a wide margin.
- Put stat points into your fruit or melee, plus defence. Sword and gun stats only pay off with a specific weapon behind them.
- Eat a movement fruit early. Travel time between quest islands costs more levels than damage does.
- Follow the island order the quests give you; each island's enemies are tuned to the levels that unlocked it.
- Raise fruit mastery past 100 and a fighting style to 50, and bank Beli, before you leave First Sea at level 700.
- Keep a fruit you mean to trade in your inventory or the Dealer's storage. Eating it destroys the tradeable item.
What actually speeds up a Blox Fruits account
- Mastery before power
- Every fruit and fighting style has a mastery bar, and the moves worth having sit behind it. A shiny new fruit at mastery 20 is a worse weapon than the one you already know at 200.
- Carry two fruits
- A fruit you have eaten and a fruit in your inventory are separate things. That is how traders keep a cheap movement fruit for questing while a valuable one waits for the right offer.
- Race work early
- Race upgrades change movement and survival more than most fruit swaps do, and the rerolls are cheapest to sit through while you are still levelling rather than at the cap.
- Bosses, not shops
- The swords and guns worth using drop from bosses and raids. A boss you can beat at your current level is worth repeating until it gives up its weapon.
- Check demand, not just value
- A fruit's number and how easily it actually moves are two different columns, and the second one changes faster. Read both before agreeing to anything.
- Wait out the timers
- Map spawns run hourly and the Dealer restocks every four hours, so a fruit nobody will trade you today is usually a few timers away rather than out of reach.
Mistakes that cost new players weeks
- Eating a valuable fruit to see what it does. The moveset stays on the account, the tradeable fruit is gone, and there is no way back short of buying another.
- Splitting stat points across melee, sword, gun and fruit. A build that does all four does none of them well enough to clear the island you are on.
- Sailing to Second Sea the moment you hit 700. The level is the requirement, not the recommendation; arriving with no Beli and low mastery turns into hours of dying to ordinary enemies.
- Trading against a screenshot. Values move after every release and rework, and a number from an old video is the most common way a trade a player thought was fair turns into a loss.
- Waiting for a code to hand you a fruit. Codes give double experience, stat resets, Beli and titles, and no code has ever given a fruit or a permanent one.

- The Blox Fruit Gacha, which sells a random fruit for Beli. A cheap roll can hand you a mythical, which is why some traders farm it.
- Awakening
- An upgraded moveset for some fruits, unlocked with fragments. It stays with your account, so a traded fruit does not carry it.
- OP
- Overpay. Adding more than list value, usually because the other fruit is in demand or recently released.
- NTY
- No thank you. A polite decline.
- LF
- Looking for. The fruits a trader wants in return.
- Legacy name
- A fruit's old name before a rework. Leopard is Tiger now and Door is Portal; values are listed under the current name only.
- Mythical
- The top rarity tier, the fruits that headline trades. Rarity is drop odds, not value, though the two overlap at the top of the list.
