Murder Mystery 2 has never had an official price list. A knife is worth what other players will give for it, and that number drifts with every crate, event and trading trend. This list keeps up with the drift: every knife, gun and pet with a current value, a demand rating, the direction it is moving and how sure we are of the number.

Values are quoted on the community's Seer scale, the same unit MM2Values and Supreme Values use, so a number here means the same thing it means in a trading server. Treat it as an exchange rate rather than a price. An item with low demand usually trades under its value, and a hyped one can briefly go over it, so read the demand and trend columns alongside the number, not instead of it. To weigh a whole offer, run it through the MM2 trade calculator.

How to read the MM2 value list

Value
The item's current value in community value points on the Seer scale. Two items with the same value are a fair one-for-one swap on paper. It is not a Robux price, and nothing in the game will pay it out.
Demand
How readily the item actually moves, on a 0 to 6 scale. Six means people are queueing for it. One or two means you will wait for the right buyer even if the value looks strong, which is why a low-demand godly so often trades under its number.
Trend
The percentage the value moved at the latest tracker refresh. A small negative figure across most of the list is normal after a big unboxing event, when new supply pushes older items down a notch. Only percentages a source actually published appear here; nothing is inferred from an arrow.
HOT
A sticker on any item whose value moved ten percent or more either way. Hot items are the ones to double check before trading, because the list may already be behind the market.
Confidence
High, medium or low, based on how many sources agree, how recent their numbers are and how far apart they sit. Most MM2 items land on medium because two trackers cover them. Low usually means the item trades too rarely to pin down.
Updated
When this item's value last changed. A value untouched for months usually means a stable item rather than a stale one; the whole list is re-checked on a schedule either way. Open an item to see its history chart, which begins the first time its number moves.

MM2 rarity tiers explained

Godly
The trading tier. Nearly two hundred knives and guns from crates, seasonal events, crafting and codes long gone, and the bulk of every trade you will see. Chromas are the rainbow variants of godlies and sit far above the plain weapon.
Ancient
Rarer than godly, with well under one percent odds from the crates that held them. Ancients carry big values, but check demand before you chase one. Scarcity alone does not make an item easy to move.
Unique
One-off items with their own history, like Corrupt, given to players from Nikilis's earlier game The Mad Murderer. Few change hands, so the value swings when one does.
Vintage
Retired originals from the game's earliest days, like Old Glory. Collector items whose value rests on nostalgia and shrinking supply rather than on use.
Legendary
The top tier still unboxable in normal play. Legendaries are the usual salvage fodder and the last rung before a godly. They are tradeable, but most godly owners want godlies back, so they rarely headline a serious offer.
Rare
Crate and craft items one step below legendary. Most rares are salvage fodder, with a few retired exceptions, like the 2018 Cane Knife, that outvalue plenty of godlies.
Uncommon
Cheap, frequent crate pulls. Their value is close to nothing on their own; they matter as bulk in a salvage or a ladder trade, not as trade currency.
Common
Starter and default items. Listed so the search finds them, but nobody is trading for a common.

Why MM2 values change

New crates and events
Every holiday event and new crate adds supply. Freshly unboxed godlies open high on hype and settle over the following weeks, and older items in the same category usually slip a little as attention moves on.
Retirement
Once an item can no longer be obtained, its supply only shrinks. Retired event items drift upward for years, which is why a 2018 knife can be worth more than a 2024 godly.
Dupes
When a duplication exploit hits an item, copies flood the market and the value collapses. Watch the trend column on big-ticket items; a sudden drop usually has a reason.
Demand swings
A YouTuber showcase or a new skin trend can send demand for one knife through the roof for a month, pulling its value up without any change in supply. Those spikes fade.
Crafting
Items you can craft from salvaged shards have a ceiling: nobody pays much more than the cost of making one. Craftable chromas stay cheap for exactly this reason.
Tracker updates
The community lists themselves move values when their teams review trades. When a source changes, the value here follows at the next check.

What an MM2 value actually measures

Years ago the community priced everything in Seers, so a knife worth three Seers had a value of 3. Seer itself has since been mass-unboxed and made craftable, so its own price fell to a few points, but the scale kept its name. A value today is simply the number the trackers agree on, and it only means anything relative to other values on the same list.

That is also why the numbers here match what traders quote in servers. They are drawn from the two lists most of the community reads, rather than from a scale of our own that nobody else is using.

Where these MM2 values come from

Every number here is a real published value from a named community list, never an average we made up. Two trackers are read for MM2: MM2Values.com, which supplies the guide number, and Supreme Values, which is compared against it. When both agree within tolerance the guide value is published. When they disagree by more than double, the row is flagged for review instead of being published on a number nobody stated.

Demand is the publishing source's own rating, rescaled from 1 to 10 onto 0 to 6. Trend is only ever a percentage a source printed. Confidence scores how recent, how independent and how consistent the evidence is. Because the two lists influence each other, they count as one evidence group and confidence stays deliberately conservative. Full details are on the methodology page.

One honest caveat: no tracker can see private trades. Values describe the consensus in public trading servers and Discord markets, which is exactly what the other side of your trade is looking at too.

Murder Mystery 2 trading slang

WFL
Win, fair or lose. Posted with a trade offer to ask whether it favours you.
W / L
A win or a loss. BIG W and FAT L mean the gap is large.
HTT
Hard to trade. The item rarely moves, whatever number the list gives it.
NTY
No thank you. A polite decline.
NLF
Not looking for. Items the trader does not want offered.
LF
Looking for. The items a trader wants in return.
OP
Overpay. Offering more than list value, usually because the other item is high demand.
Seer
The godly knife MM2 traders historically priced everything against. Values are still quoted on that scale.
Chroma
A rainbow, animated version of a godly. Chromas are separate items and trade well above the plain weapon.
Godly
The top obtainable tier and the backbone of MM2 trading. Most serious trades are godly for godly.
Dupe
A duplicated item. When dupes spread, that item's value drops fast.
Trade-up
Trading several lower items for one better one, the community's ladder from commons to a first godly. Salvaging and crafting is the in-game version.

MM2 value questions

What is the rarest item in MM2?

By drop odds, ancient-tier knives and guns are the rarest items that were ever unboxable. The rarest outright are one-offs like Nik's Scythe and the vintage originals, which have not dropped in years and only ever lose supply. Rare is not the same as valuable, though: an ancient with demand 1 can be harder to trade than a popular godly.

What is the most valuable knife in MM2?

Nik's Scythe sits at the top of the list at a value in the hundreds of millions, alongside a handful of gold event weapons. Those numbers are collector trophies more than trade prices, because almost nobody owns one to sell. Among items that actually change hands, retired event guns like Evergun and Constellation and the retired chromas lead.

How much is a Seer worth?

A plain Seer is worth a few value points, which sounds odd for the knife the whole scale was named after. It was once the unit of account, but it is craftable and has been mass-unboxed for years, so its own price fell while the scale kept its name. Chroma Seer is worth several times more and also stays cheap because it can be crafted.

What does the demand number mean?

Demand is a 0 to 6 rating of how easily an item finds a buyer. Value says what an item should fetch; demand says how long you will wait to get it. When two items have similar values, trade toward the higher demand one unless you plan to hold.

Is a chroma worth more than the normal godly?

Almost always, and often by a lot. A chroma is the animated rainbow version of a godly weapon, unboxed at much lower odds, so it lists as its own item. The gap runs from a few times the plain weapon for craftable chromas up to hundreds of times for retired event ones.

How do you get godlies in MM2?

Crates and mystery boxes, seasonal events, crafting from salvaged shards, and trading. Codes have not granted a godly in years. The cheapest route for a new trader is to salvage legendaries into shards and craft a Seer, or trade several legendaries for a low-value godly and work upward from there.

How often are MM2 values updated?

The list is re-checked on a schedule and an item's value changes whenever its sources do. Each item shows the date of its last change, and the stamp at the top shows the freshest check across the whole list. Popular items move most weeks; quiet items can sit still for months.

Is this an official MM2 value list?

No. Nikilis has never published prices, and no fan list is official. These are community consensus values, drawn from named trackers with their dates shown, which is the same information the other side of your trade is using.

Why did my item sell for less than its value?

Because value is the midpoint of what people will pay, not a floor. Low demand, a duped batch, a big unboxing event or simply a buyer in a hurry all push real offers below the list. If you keep getting offers well under value, the demand rating is probably telling you why.

Values are surveyed from multiple community sources and set by our own algorithm, which weighs how closely the sources agree, how many traders each one reaches, demand, how recently each number moved, and how far the lists disagree — how values work. These are community trade estimates, not official prices, and live offers can move.

Check the confidence and update date before you trade. An item with no usable picture shows a simple icon. Favourites and saved filters stay in your browser. Value history starts accumulating the first time one of these numbers changes, so no history charts are drawn yet.
