1. What SecretBlox displays, and why

SecretBlox is a companion site for Roblox experiences. Nearly everything on it is our own writing over facts we extracted ourselves: player counts read from Roblox's public endpoints, codes with the source and time we found them, and item values that are our own editorial judgement. Where a community wiki was the source of a FACT, we take the fact, write our own description, and credit the wiki under its Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence.

Two kinds of image appear on the site, and they are worth separating:

• Game icons are displayed directly from Roblox's own content delivery network. They are not copied to our servers.
• Item thumbnails are shown at small size to identify the item a row is about — the picture next to a name in a value list. Some come from Roblox; some are images from a community wiki, stored by us so the page does not hotlink someone else's server. They are shown for identification, at thumbnail size, alongside our own writing, and are never offered as downloads or as a substitute for the original.

We think that use is fair. If you own one of those images and disagree, you do not have to argue the point with us — send the notice below and we will take it down. We would rather remove a thumbnail than have a dispute about one.

2. Designated agent

Notices of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to the designated agent for Strapp, LLC, operator of secretblox.com:

• By email — support@secretblox.com, subject line "DMCA".

3. Send a takedown notice

The fields below are the elements a takedown notice has to contain to be effective under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). We ask for all of them because a notice missing one cannot be acted on, and finding that out by email a day later wastes your time more than ours.

Please do not misuse this. The statements you confirm below are made under penalty of perjury, and someone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing can be liable for damages under §512(f). We read every notice.

4. If your material was removed and you think it should not have been

Write to support@secretblox.com with a counter-notification: identify the material and where it was, state under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, give your name, address and phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any district in which we may be found). We will pass it on to whoever sent the original notice.

5. Repeat infringers

Almost nothing on SecretBlox is user-submitted, so this is short: we do not host uploads, and the material a notice can be about is material we published. Where an account is ever involved, we terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
