Readings older than about a month are folded into one row per day that keeps the day's average alongside its lowest and highest readings, which is what the shaded band draws. Long ranges lose the hourly wiggle and keep the peaks. Visits, favourites and vote counts are read in the same pass, so they carry the same timestamp as the player count beside them.
