Murder Mystery 2 codes are rare. Nikilis has not released a new one in years, and most of the codes still circulating are old creator knife codes that may or may not redeem for you. Every code listed here shows its source and the date that source last called it active, so you can tell a fresh confirmation from a stale copy.
When there is nothing to list, the list stays empty rather than padded with expired codes dressed up as working ones. An honest zero beats a wall of dead codes. If you are here for what a knife is worth, the MM2 values list and the MM2 trade calculator are what you want.
How to redeem codes in MM2
- Open Murder Mystery 2, wait for the lobby, then click Inventory on the left side of the screen.
- Find the EnterCode box in the bottom-right corner of the inventory screen.
- Type or paste the code exactly as written. MM2 codes are case-sensitive.
- Press Redeem. A working code drops its weapon straight into your inventory.
How to read the MM2 code list
- Working now
- A source we track still lists the code as active, with the date it last did so shown on the row. Nobody can test a Roblox code from outside the game, so a recent confirmation is the strongest guarantee that exists.
- Unverified
- The code is circulating but no tracked source has confirmed it. Try it if you like; expect nothing.
- Expired
- Redemption is reported to fail. Kept on the list so you stop retyping codes from old videos.
- Reward
- What the code grants, as described by its source. MM2 codes have historically given a single knife or gun skin, never a godly.
- Checked
- When the source last confirmed the code. The stamp at the top shows the freshest check across the list.
- NEW
- First seen within the last 48 hours. New codes are the ones most likely to still work.
Common MM2 code mistakes
- Believing thumbnails. Most codes on video thumbnails are expired or invented. If no tracked source lists it, it is not here.
- Retyping instead of copying. Zero and the letter O look alike in most fonts; use the copy button.
- Expecting a godly. No known MM2 code has ever given a godly, and the codes that did exist gave basic knives.
- Redeeming on an alt. Rewards stay on the account that redeemed them and cannot be moved.
Where these codes come from
Codes are collected from the game's description, the developer's announcement channels and the community wiki, then re-checked on a schedule. A code is marked working only while a tracked source still calls it active, and every row shows that source and the time of its last confirmation. We do not redeem codes in the game, so working means a source said so, not that we tested it.
How often the code list updates
- Existing codes
- Re-checked against their sources on a rolling schedule. A code its source withdraws moves to expired at the next pass.
- New codes
- Sources are polled continuously, and a newly published code appears at the next crawl, usually within hours, marked NEW for its first 48.
- Alerts
- Code alerts, where available, send a notification the moment a new MM2 code is confirmed. For this game that may be a long wait, which is rather the point of an alert.
Murder Mystery 2 trading slang
- WFL
- Win, fair or lose. Posted with a trade offer to ask whether it favours you.
- W / L
- A win or a loss. BIG W and FAT L mean the gap is large.
- HTT
- Hard to trade. The item rarely moves, whatever number the list gives it.
- NTY
- No thank you. A polite decline.
- NLF
- Not looking for. Items the trader does not want offered.
- LF
- Looking for. The items a trader wants in return.
- OP
- Overpay. Offering more than list value, usually because the other item is high demand.
- Seer
- The godly knife MM2 traders historically priced everything against. Values are still quoted on that scale.
- Chroma
- A rainbow, animated version of a godly. Chromas are separate items and trade well above the plain weapon.
- Godly
- The top obtainable tier and the backbone of MM2 trading. Most serious trades are godly for godly.
- Dupe
- A duplicated item. When dupes spread, that item's value drops fast.
- Trade-up
- Trading several lower items for one better one, the community's ladder from commons to a first godly. Salvaging and crafting is the in-game version.
MM2 code questions
Are there any working MM2 codes right now?
Usually not. New MM2 codes have not been released in years, and the handful of old creator codes still floating around are hit and miss. Whatever is confirmed appears in the list above with its source and date. If the list is empty, that is the honest answer for today.
How do you redeem codes in MM2?
Open your inventory from the left side of the screen, find the EnterCode box in the bottom-right corner, paste the code and press Redeem. Codes are case-sensitive.
Do MM2 codes give godlies?
No. Historical MM2 codes gave a single basic knife or gun, usually tied to a YouTuber. Godlies come from crates, events, crafting and trading.
Why does a code marked working fail for me?
Codes can be one redemption per account, retired between the last check and your attempt, or mistyped. Check the date on the row, then copy the code instead of typing it.
Where would new MM2 codes be announced?
By Nikilis on his X account, in the MM2 Discord and on his YouTube channel, usually alongside a major update or a milestone. They are picked up here at the next check and marked NEW.
